I'm posting this journal mainly because I need to vent some stuff and I really can't on my personal pages (like Bebo and Facebook) because of the attention it will draw from people who actually know me and who will probably find this hilariously funny and take the mick at school. Well it's not funny to me, I can tell you that.
I recently changed who I hang around with school because of something that happened between (what I though was) a close friend and me which I don't think I can ever forgive. And also because I just want a fresh start from a lot of things at the moment. Aaaanyway, I started hanging around with a friend I've known for about 5 years who I share a lot of secrets with and I know I can
trust, something I value very highly. She hangs around in this courtyard with a lot of people in the year below us who are all real cool and I get along with reasonably well. My other friend who is also in my year and hangs around with us really dislikes this one girl for reasons I don't know. They just don't get on at all. It seems a little petty to me, but I don't prejudice like that so I just don't say anything. I know this girl is a bit of a loose cannon and thinks she's right a lot because of 'skirmishes' I've had in the past with her which usually involves her saying something rude and me just ignoring her because I don't want to start a fight.
So it was just one nice lunchtime and I was just talking to me friend about something or other when my other year 10 friend said that she wanted to go to the canteen to get something to eat and wanted to know if I'd go. So I was just about to walk off when I noticed that this girl and all her friend were staring at me. Just as I turned my back she said 'Oh my god she sounds like a man!' as loudly as she possibly could so I would hear it.
Now I've had this a lot, and it's mainly because of this that I'm writing this journal. The first time I ever heard it was when some boy who had been sent out said it to me in class, to which I replied 'Well you sound like a
girl!' because I was, y'know, really quick witted and stuff in Year 7. Since then, I've had it from (so called) friends, members of my own family, complete strangers and even a few teachers. I really don't mind people calling my all the names under the sun. Bitch, cow, arsehole...they're empty words when it comes down to it. Sticks and stones and all that, right? This girl could have said any of those words or worse and I would have just rolled my eyes and ignored her but when stuff gets really personal it hurts and it is uncalled for. I didn't really know what to say to her so I just turned around and swore at her, which she imitated in 'my' voice. According to another person who was nearby she carried on slagging me off once I'd left, saying I was lanky and small and loads of other shit which has nothing whatsoever to do with her. So now I kind of realise why my friend didn't like her that much at all.
So yeah, that's probably the most interesting thing that has happened to me recently (apart from being hit by a flying chair in art, but that's another story...). I'm not expecting any replies to this (seeing as I rarely get any) but I just needed to get it all out.
I might upload some stuff soon. Requests are closed and I have so many to do. I apologise for being so slow.
Things to be done (eventually)
